Terms and Conditions
1. This promotion is open to all UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, and Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 or over. Entry excludes employees and their immediate families of VisitScotland/visitscotland.com, their agencies and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion.
2. Only one entry per household will be accepted for the prize draw.
3. Closing date for the prize draw will be 17th October 2008
4. The winners will be notified by email by 31st of October 2008.
5. The winners will be the first two entries drawn at random by VisitScotland under independent supervision.
6. VisitScotland's decision is final and no dispute will be entered into.
7. There are two prizes in the draw Each prize is a short break to Glasgow for two adults comprising: two nights accommodation in an apartment at Fraser Suites, Glasgow, £250 cash for shopping, a contribution of up to £200 towards travel costs to Glasgow, two tickets to the Tartan Clef Awards dinner at the Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow on Saturday 22 November, a two-hour snowboarding or skiing lesson at Sno!Zone, and dinner at the Corinthian or Arta on the evening of Friday 21st November. VS representatives will be accompanying the winners to the awards.
8. All aspects of the prize fund are subject to availability and only available on the specified dates.
9. The travel allowance included is up to the value of £200 in total. The amount provided will vary based on location of winner, distance travelled and travel method. It excludes any other non-travel costs, such as airport car parking. Please note travel to and from Glasgow will involve the prize-winner booking their travel to be reimbursed by VisitScotland. Prize-winners will need to retain a copy of their receipts. The winners will only be reimbursed for the cost of the receipt submitted to the maximum value of £200. The Promoter's decision on travel is final.
10. Entries from third parties, agencies or sent in bulk will be declared invalid and void.
11. No Responsibility can be taken for lost, delayed or non-transmitted entries. Proof of entry does not constitute proof of receipt.
12. In the event of circumstances outside of its control, the promoter reserves the right to provide a similar alternative prize of equal or greater value
13. No cash alternative or other prize is available. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the promoter the prize draw will only be available to the winner in person.
14. No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw.
15. Prize-winners may be required to participate in publicity.
