The Tartan Clef awards

The Tartan Clef Music Awards are held each November in Glasgow to recognise and celebrate music talent. Last year’s winners included Franz Ferdinand, Biffy Clyro and Amy Macdonald, and for 2008, the event is set to be bigger and better than ever.

The Awards are part of a major fundraising programme in support of the charity Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy in Scotland. The charity helps children and adults with a wide variety of special needs to improve their quality of life through a range of music-based therapeutic treatments.
